Huge crowds celebrate with Special Guest Star, Dáithí O Sé
at the 10th Birthday of
Woman’s World, Beauty Salon, Castleisland, County Kerry
Over 200 guests, clients, family and friends, packed into the newly opened premises of Woman’s World in Castleisland, County Kerry, on Friday night (26th February) to watch top TV star, and Kerry Person of the Year, Dáithí O Sé, officially launch the Beauty Salon’s 10th birthday celebrations.
Woman's World beauty salon was co-founded by Caroline Murphy, from Donegal Town and Marie O'Mahony, from Scartaglin, Co Kerry, in February 2000. They initially set up across the road at No. 29, before moving to their new premises, and have been keeping the women of Castleisland, and beyond, looking and feeling fabulous ever since. The new Woman’s World premises, originally a bar belonging to the O'Connor family, was completely renovated and converted into the luxurious, top class salon it is today. Recently Woman's World was nominated for 'Best Day Spa Salon in Ireland' by Yonka and only narrowly missed out on the title, coming 2nd place. But here's to next year!!
At the celebrations, co-owners, Caroline Murphy and Marie O Mahony, together cut the ribbon with Dáithí O Sé. In warm and funny speeches, they both thanked their wonderful husbands, Maurice and Finbarr; hard working staff Grace and Joanne and, most importantly their many loyal clients. Dáithí, was accompanied on the night by members of his family (who are good friends of the owners) and he delighted his many fans and well wishers, with an hilariously funny and engaging speech!
As well as sipping champagne and enjoying plentiful hors d’oeuvres, 6 lucky guests won magnificent prizes worth over €1,000 euro.
