Premier of Deo Volente in St. John’s Church of Ireland Tralee
Hailed as a wonderful success as capacity crowds enjoyed en evening of uplifting and inspiration music in aid of Charity
Kerry music lovers enjoyed a classical treat when Deo Volente premiered for one night only, on Friday 19th of June, in St John’s Church of Ireland, Ashe Street, Tralee, County Kerry. Capacity crowds filled the Church on a bright summers evening and were delighted by a performance of exceptional talents in aid of two very worthy causes - St. Johns Restoration Fund and Tralee Mental Health Association.
Performers Iona Le Gros and Roel Villones opened the show at 8.00pm and the night also included very special guests the OPUS choir. The Musical Director was the very talented Aine Murray and the Show was created and produced by Padraig Dennehy.

It was a spectacular performance and the audience were drawn into the ambiance of the occasion as the lighting changed to reflect the mood with every song. The repetior was a perfect blend of sacred and classical, performed with sincerity and conviction by the brilliant Iona Le Gros and Roel Villones. Iona and Roel perform so well together. The chemistry and energy generated by their performance of 'Deo Volente' was tremendous and enjoyed by all. The choir, Opus 96 were, as always, outstanding and enriched the evening with their performance as St. John’s Church resounded to their voices,.
Special thanks also to Audio Direct who created both an audio and visual spectacular on the night. Ger O’ Sullivan and his team, interpreted the songs and their mood through an amazing lighting display.
